US-Iran talks begin at Bürgenstock as Vance arrives
A high-level Iranian delegation led by chief negotiator Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf and including Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi arrived in Switzerland for talks with the US that Pakistan said would begin Sunday. US Vice President JD Vance departed Washington saying he hoped to "make progress on the nuclear issue" and the Lebanon ceasefire. The Swiss foreign ministry confirmed it continues providing a "discreet and reliable setting" at Bürgenstock but declined to identify participants, citing confidentiality.
